Are you getting tired of repeatedly creating the new recurring invoices and expenses with a correct date? Do not worry anymore! Superfaktura will do it for you.
When creating a new invoice, it is possible to substitute specific values in the name, variable symbol and item description for a symbols. At the time of creation these symbols will be replaced by the current real values.
Symbols that can be used:
- #MESIAC# – 2 digit number of the current month when the invoice is created
- #ROK# – current year (4 digits)
- #TYZDEN# – current week
- #DEN# – current day
Examples of recurring invoices for monthly services:
Name of the invoice: Website Operation #MESIAC#/#ROK#
Name of the invoiced item: Content Update #MESIAC#/#ROK#
Variable symbol: #ROK##MESIAC#
Upon creation of the invoice, the symbols will be replaced by the current values resulting in the following name “Website Operation 05/2012” and variable symbol being “201205”. Next month, the invoice is going to be created automatically but new values are going to be entered resulting in “Website Operation 06/2012” and the variable symbol being “201206”. In the near future we are hoping to include a new feature that will automatically send recurring invoices through either email or Hybrid mail. Hopefully, this will relieve you from dealing with the reocurring invoices once and forever.
Same procedure also works for the recurring expenses. This can be illustrated on health insurance and social security contributions, which do not change over time. The symbols can be used both for the name of the expenses as well as the variable symbol.
You can name the expense “Health insurance contributions #MESIAC#/#ROK#” and set it to repeat monthly. Once saved, an expense with the name “Health insurance contributions 05/2012” will be created and is going to be generated every month with the same name but with a new date.
