During the invoice creation process, just click on “More options” and select a currency of your choice. In your list of invoices you are going to see the particular invoice in the foreign currency, however, in graphs and statistics the value of this invoice is going to be in changed to EUR by the NBS’ exchange rate from the date of creation. This way you don’t have to worry about your graphs missing out invoices in foreign currencies.
When adding payments to the invoices in foreign currencies you will be given 3 new options:
- Currency, in which was the payment received
- Exchange rate in regards to domestic currency (EUR). By default this is the exchange rate of NBS on the day of payment. Nonetheless, this can be replaced by the exchange rate of the bank that processed the payment
- Checkbox, if the invoice has been completely paid off. Due to the differences in the exchange rates, when the invoice was issued and the payment received, we need you to tell us whether you expect additional payments or the matter has been settled.
After the payment, you will be able to see in the list of invoices the total sum paid and the exchange rate used.
If you have any particular client that only uses foreign currency, you have the option to pre-set all the future invoices to be in the currency of your client. As the result, you can save time and be sure that all the invoices are in the correct currency.
